All photos by David Denenberg. Please do not reuse without permission. Honeydew is halfway between Humboldt Redwoods State Park and a beautiful, remote section of the Pacific coast. This bridge is typical of short-span steel suspension bridges built in the 1920's and 1930's. The haze in these pictures was due to wildfires burning in Humboldt throughout September of 2003.
