This interesting bridge is sometimes identified as a chain suspension bridge and appears in Jakkula's historical list of suspension bridges. Opened in 1873 and replaced by 1931, the structure is sometimes described as using the "Fives-Lille" suspension system (it was built by the Fives-Lille company).
