Is it a suspension bridge? Is it a cantilever bridge? Commonly known by its nickname "Blaues Wunder" ("Blue Wonder", sometimes "Blue Miracle"), the Loschwitz Bridge is an extreme example of a type of bridge often referred to as a "stiffened suspension bridge." The German Wikipedia page (Blaues Wunder (Dresden)) examines the concepts of the design of this bridge.
