Reconciliation: Steinman

This list first appeared as an appendix in the second edition (1929) of David B. Steinman's A Practical Treatise On Suspension Bridges. The following pieces of information were provided for each bridge: the year of completion, a brief bridge name and location, span in feet, type (cable or chain), life (number of years bridge survived), and age (as of 1929, in years, for bridges still standing).

The very limited details (and no references) make it very difficult to positively match many bridges in Steinman's list. Names and locations are exactly as they appear in Steinman's list (though, accents have been omitted on many of the French and other names).
