Popular trail reopens after flooding damaged it in 2020 - Spectrum Local News. Article dated September 9, 2022. Chip Nuhrah is quoted: "This one is 170 feet and the first suspension bridge was only 120 feet, so we’ve made it taller, and we’ve made it longer in hopes of being able to prevent flooding from happening again and taking this bridge out. This bridge also has a system where it can be detached from one end in the event that there was a flood that would come up this far, they would release one side so that it would swing away."
